Over 100 kilometres of skiable pistes

The Sierra Nevada ski resort in Granada opened this morning with 100.2 kilometres of skiable pistes, close to the maximum.

There are 110 tracks open, 22 lifts in operation and the snow cover is between 50 cms and 3 metres. Temperatures around the resort are expected to be between a maximum of 7 degrees and a minimum of -4 degrees.

There is the possibility of light snow above 1,800 metres later in the day with winds of up to 50 kph.
