A 39 year old tractor driver died early this morning after his arm was severed while he was spraying olive trees in La Campana, Sevilla.
It is thought that the man got down from his tractor and then his clothing became caught in the rotor blades which amputated his arm at the shoulder, an injury which caused him to bleed to death.
The man, a resident of Fuentes de Andalucía, was working on the outskirts of La Campana when the incident occurred. The Emergency Services arrived on the scene but could do nothing to save his life.
