A robbery and stabbing in Antequera on Thursday is believed to have been the work of the two men who escaped from Sevilla prison on Wednesday.
On Thursday evening at around 19:00, two men approached a worker on the industrial estate and stabbed him in the back and chest before robbing him. The victim identified his attackers as the two men who had managed to escape from Sevilla II prison.
The two fugitives are 28 year old R.H.C. from Córdoba who is serving 7 years and six months for various robberies and is awaiting trial for murder. and 22 year old M.L.E., a Moroccan national serving 3 years and 6 months for robbery and awaiting trial for further robberies.
Police are now concentrating their search for the two fugitives along the Costa del Sol.
