The Mayor of Nerja, José Alberto Armijo, has called upon all parties to act responsibly, abide by the rules and play the game at Council meetings after he expelled PSOE member Luis Peña for constant and out of order interruptions.
The Mayor said that all parties should abide by the rules laid down for meetings. He also criticised the PSOE and IU decision to once again leave the chamber before the end of the plenary session, describing the action as a political error as they represent a significant proportion of the electorate.
