The A-7053 connecting the Valle del Guadalhorce and the Costa del Sol via the Puerto de los Pescadores in the Entrerríos of Mijas could reopen to traffic towards the end of the year.
The Provincial Delegate for Public Works, Dolores Fernández, made the announcement after visiting three major sites where roadworks are in progress. The triple project is a €22.5 million undertaking which the government says has created 400 jobs.
The MA-3033 in Coín at the Puerto de los Pescadores could possibly be open to traffic later this month if all goes well. The delegate also visited the A-387 project connecting Coín with Alhaurin el Grande.
