The train service between Jabugo (Huelva) and Zafra (Badajoz) had to be suspended after a train derailed due to rocks falling on the track. No-one was injured in the incident.
The incident occurred near Fregenal de la Sierra (Badajoz) on Friday night and RENFE, the rail network operator, established an alternative service for passengers.
On Saturday, three trains were running on this route; Zafra-Huelva departing 05:50, Huelva-Jabugo departing 09:45 and Jabugo-Huelva departing at 16:41. Where necessary, passengers were transshipped by road to complete their journey.
