At least 77 people are now known to have died and hundreds of others have been injured after a train derailed near Santiago de Compostela in Galicia.
Freight train derails in Córdoba
A freight train derailed on Friday morning near Los Cansinos station in Córdoba, causing problems for rail traffic between Sevilla, Córdoba and Málaga with Barcelona.

A mechanical fault caused the derailment of one of the Vélez-Málaga Tranvia trams on Friday morning, disrupting the service for around thirty minutes.
Rail link cut after train derails
The train service between Jabugo (Huelva) and Zafra (Badajoz) had to be suspended after a train derailed due to rocks falling on the track. No-one was injured in the incident.
