A freight train derailed on Friday morning near Los Cansinos station in Córdoba, causing problems for rail traffic between Sevilla, Córdoba and Málaga with Barcelona.
The accident occurred at 10:45, four carriages leaving the rails. The line between Córdoba and Jaén was completely cut and RENFE has arranged alternative routes and transport for the middle distance trains using the affected route.
Normal service should be resumed by early Saturday morning.
