The Fire Brigade and Protección Civil have recommended the evacuation of certain areas in Puente Tablas and Puente de la Sierra, Jaén province, due to the risk of flooding.
Rail traffic between Espeluy and Jaén and between Valchillón and El Chaparral (Córdoba) has been suspended due to flooding of the tracks. Alternative transportation is being arranged for passengers. The authorities are currently hoping to re-establish the rail links at around 15:00 today after the completion of remedial work.
