Two people died late on Friday night as the result of a fire at a house in avenida de Andalucía in Jaén city although the bodies were not found until Saturday.
On Saturday, the police were alerted after smoke was seen coming from the house in avenida de Andalucía. Upon arrival they found two bodies in the lounge.
It appears that the two people died on Friday as the result of a fire but it was only after the fire reignited and produced a column of smoke that anyone else was aware of the situation.
An investigation into the cause of the fire is underway.
