The two major building projects in Torrox being carried out under the first Plan Zapatero will fail to meet the completion deadline of March 31st.
The two projects, work on the promenade at Ferrara Playa in Torrox Costa and the redevelopment of plaza de la Constitución in Torrox Pueblo, were at a standstill for several weeks due to a dispute between the contractor and a sub-contractor.
Torrox Council requested an extension of the deadline by 6 weeks but the Provincial Council will only permit a one month extension and the new deadline is April 30th.
