Police in Sevilla have arrested a 29 year old man who brutally attacked his partner who subsequently needed hospital treatment for her injuries.
The incident occurred in the La Palmilla area of Sevilla. The owner of the property witnessed the aggression and called the police. He himself was threatened with a bottle after he tried to intervene in the domestic dispute in which the woman, who was holding a baby at the time, was repeatedly punched and kicked.
The police found the woman to be suffering from obvious blows to the head and there was blood on the floor. She was taken to the Hospital Virgen Macarena in Sevilla for treatment and was visited by a representative from a home for battered women.
