Workers at the municipal bus company TUSSAM in Sevilla have voted in favour of strike action on Sunday March 28th, Palm Sunday.
The four unions representing the workers, the CCOO, ASC, CGT and SITT, recommended industrial action after talks with management failed reach any satisfactory agreement.
The Unions believe the company are determined to outsource many of the services and refuse to discuss alternative proposals, such as merging of services or restructuring.
Another point of contention is the request by the Unions that the company pays outstanding wages to employees for 2009.
