While 99.9% of participants were wafting olive branches of every size from a couple of leaves to huge tree-like objects, one person either obviously felt left out or couldn’t distinguish between an olive and a bottlebrush, so there is one less bright red bloom in Plaza de la Ermita.

The sun came out for the traditional Palm Sunday – Domingo de Ramos – procession from Plaza de la Ermita to the El Salvador church on the Balcón de Europa. A good crowd followed the procession through the town.
