A 24 year old woman died early this morning in the Rambla Méndez Núñez district of Alicante as a result of gunshot wounds.
The shooting occurred at 03:30 on Sunday morning. Emergency Services arrived on the scene but could do nothing to save the life of the woman.
It is thought that this could be another case of gender or domestic violence although there is no clear evidence of this at the present time.
There have been no arrests so far.
