A team from Murcia became the champions of Spain after winning the Men’s Junior Petanca Championships held at El Playazo beach at the weekend, beating a team from Alicante in the final.
El Playazo beach was chosen as the location as 30 petanca courts were required to be in use at the same time.
The winners of the Absolute Spain Championships Category 2a were a team from Irún.
