Sunday May 2nd is the fifth Día de la Haba (Day of the Bean) in the town of Villanueva de la Concepción and more than 3,000 people are expected to attend the festivities.
Villanueva de la Concepción produces between one million and two and a half million beans each year and the harvest provides work for 300 people.
All sorts of activities have been planned for Sunday and there will be plenty of bean casserole and bean omelette on offer.
