According to Torrox Council, the new, and second, underground car park in Torrox Pueblo could open ‘before the summer’ with 242 parking spaces available.
The project began during the previous PSOE legislature but stalled after the funds ran out. It was resumed by the current Council after a €600,000 loan was secured from the provincial authorities.
Around 150 of the spaces will be available for purchase, although the price has not yet been decided, and the rest will be available on a rotation basis for visitors to the town.
