A 68 year old woman has died in Santiago el Mayor, Murcia, apparently at the hands of her husband.
A neighbour reported to police that 63 year old A.L.C. was crying and saying that he had killed his wife with a blow to the head at their home in calle Huerto Alix.
The police arrived on the scene and proceeded to arrest the man as the alleged perpetrator of the crime. There was apparently no previous record of violence or mistreatment within the family.
