Rincón de la Victoria Council has installed bluetooth in various public places in order to provide tourist information, notification of events and activities and other relevant information.
The project cost €9,645 and was financed under the FEESL (Fondo Estatal para el Empleo y la Sostenibilidad Local). It is currently in the testing stage but should be up and running by mid-June.
The range of the signal is about one hundred metres from the location of the device. One unit is located in the Town Hall, a second is in the Tourist Office on the Paseo Marítimo and a third is a mobile unit.
