A 21 year old youth is in a critical condition after being hit by a subway train at Casa del Reloj station in Leganés, Madrid.
The incident happened at 08:00 when the youth tried to board the train after the doors had been closed. As he was pressing the button to try and open the door, he slipped between the carriage and the platform.
The train moved a few metres causing the semi-amputation of his right leg up to the groin. He is now in a critical condition in the Hospital 12 de Octubre.
