Rafael Nadal has won the French Open for the fifth time and on Monday will regain the numero uno spot in the rankings.
Nadal came through 6-4 6-2 6-4 against Robin Soderling in two hours 18 minutes at an overcast Roland Garros, securing his seventh Grand Slam title.
