Police have detained a man in connection with the fatal shooting of a 26 year old British national in a Mijas bar last Saturday.
The detainee, an Irish national with a prior police record, was picked up in Coín just forty-eight hours after the shooting incident at the bar in urbanisation Riviera del Sol.
Police are still searching for two other people who fled the scene on a high-powered motorbike. It is thought that the motive for the shooting was a settling of accounts.
