Friday was the inauguration of a new medical centre in Macharaviaya, a €143,530 project funded by the provincial and regional governments.
Attending the inauguration were Health Delegate María Antigua Escalera, the President of the Provincial Council, Salvador Pendón, and the Mayor of Macharaviaya, Antonio Campos.
The new facility covers an area of 117 square metres and has two consulting rooms, two waiting rooms and reception area.
