Improved performance from Spain

Spain got their World Cup ambitions back on track with a comfortable 2-0 win over Honduras, David Villa grabbing both goals and missing out on several other chances, including a penalty which he managed to hit wide of the goal.

Spain dominated the match, as they did against Switzerland, although this time they looked far more effective up front and were continually threatening the Honduras goal.

The next match is against Chile on Friday, crunch time for Spain. If Switzerland beat Honduras, Spain will probably have to beat Chile, who have already qualified, in order to progress,
