So far this year, 50 people have died in Andalucia as a result of industrial accidents with 15 of those accidents occurring on the journey to or from the workplace.
Sevilla is the province with the highest number of fatalities with 16 deaths.
In the first half of 2009, there were 49 industrial fatalities, a figure which was 56 less than during the first half of 2008.
May 2010 was the worst month for industrial accidents with 13 people losing their lives.
