Two killed in accident in Denia

Two people died and another was seriously injured on Sunday night when their vehicle left the road and plunged from a bridge in Denia, Alicante.

Thirteen killed on the roads over the weekend

Thirteen people were killed and six others were injured on the roads in Spain during the first Easter weekend, a figure which already represents half of the total number of deaths recorded during the entire Easter week in 2013.

Fatal fire in Miranda de Ebro

A 70-year-old woman and her 40-year-old daughter died in the early hours of this morning in a fire at their home in calle Torre de Miranda in Miranda de Ebro, Burgos. The two women died from carbon monoxide poisoning.  

Two fatalities on Huelva beaches

Two people died today in separate incidents on the beaches of Huelva. In Punta Umbria, swimmers found the body of a man in his sixties who had suffered a heart attack. on Punta del Moral beach in Ayamonte, a 70 year-old man drowned despite the best efforts of local health personnel.

Three fatalities in shooting incident in Zamora

Three people, a couple and their son, were found dead this morning at their home in Vegalatrave, about 40 kilometres from Zamora. Luis José O.J., aged 74 years, María Asunción P.C., aged 62 years and their son José Luis O.P., aged 37 years, had all suffered gunshot wounds.

Missing immigrant boat found

The Moroccan authorities have rescued 24 people alive and recovered 11 bodies from a boat carrying illegal sub-Saharan immigrants. A search had been ongoing for the boat since Monday.
