Two municipal workers have now died as a result of an industrial accident in Fuengirola on Friday, one at the scene and a second who subsequently died in hospital.
The men were working in calle Miguel Angel to remove architectural barriers when a wall collapsed. One of the men died at the scene, a second was rushed to the Hospital Costa del Sol suffering from abdominal and pelvic polytrauma. Unfortunately he did not recover and subsequently died from his injuries.
The accident occurred at around 13:00 on Friday.
