An 18 year old youth died on Wednesday night at the sports centre in Otura, Granada province, while playing football.
The youth was training with the youth team when, at around 22:30, he became ill and collapsed. Medical staff tried for over an hour to resuscitate him but were unsuccesful.
An autopsy is being carried out to determine the exact cause of death.
