Guitarists from Germany, Venezuela, Turkey, Italy and Spain will be participating in the XIX International Guitar Festival and Competition to be held at various locations in the municipality of Vélez-Málaga between July 9th and 13th.
There will be lectures, seminars, study days, concerts and competitions amongst numerous activities. The festival locations include: palacio de Beniel, the Carmen theatre, Santa María church, the San Francisco convent in Vélez, café-teatro in Triana and churches in Almayate, Benajarafe and Caleta.
The cost of tuition is one hundred euros for active participants and fifty euros for those just wanting to listen. Lectures and the qualifying rounds for the actual competition will be held at the Conservatorio Elemental de Música in Torre del Mar.
