A fire in calle Juan Ramón Jiménez in the Solis district of Estepona caused the evacuation of the entire block for a period of six hours while firemen tackled the blaze.
The fire started around 21:00 last night, Saturday, on the second floor of the building, completely gutting the apartment and causing some structural damage.
No-one was injured in the blaze although there was one casualty, a dog who was in the apartment at the time of the fire.
