Thirty-eight sub-Saharans, including women and children, were intercepted this morning in the Alborán Sea as they made their way to mainland Spain.
The immigrant boat was spotted early this morning by a fishing vessel and the passengers were later taken to Almeria Port for processing.
The Red Cross were on hand in Almeria Port to offer assistance.
