Amy’s Bar in calle Los Huertos has closed today after around fifteen years. The place will be gutted and renovated before re-opening, the new owners being the ones who recently opened Molly Malone’s in calle El Barrio.
It looks very much like The Pantry, the British baker in Plaza Garcia Caparros, has also gone. No sign of life and no notice about being on vacation, just empty shelves.
Tapika’s in calle Chaparil is closed and up for rent, didn’t last too long. The close proximity to the popular Sevillano (almost next door) is probably one of the reasons that no-one seems to last very long in that location.
