On Saturday, members of the Málaga Fire Brigade were involved in the rescue of a woman who had suffered an injury while walking along the rio Chillar in Nerja.
The woman, initials E.R.M., injured her left ankle and had to be taken on a stretcher to the Fábrica de la Luz before being transferred to hospital for treatment.
