The Unions have made an agreement with the Ministry of Employment, the Employers Confederation of Andalusia (CEA) and the Municipal Councils regarding minimum service levels during the General Strike on September 29th.
The situation will be very similar to that during the last General Strike on June 20th 2002, with essential services being supplied and it being, in effect, like a normal public holiday.
In an unexpected move, the Archdiocese of Sevilla has expressed its opposition to labour reform and has showed support for the strike.
