Real Sociedad had several early chances to take the lead but failed to capitalise and it was Real madrid who went ahead at the beginning of the second half. However, the lead didn’t last very long as Tamudo got on the end of a long free kick to slot the ball past Casillas.
It was the first goal conceded by Madrid so far this season. The winner came from the boot of Ronaldo, and the back of Pepe. Ronaldo’s free kick hit Pepe in the back and ballooned over Bravo, the Real Sociedad keeper.
Hércules CF,conquerors of Barcelona last week, couldn’t keep it goind and went down 1-2 to Valencia. Mata opened the scoring for Valencia after just 2 minutes and Pablo added a second twenty minutes later.
