A 33-year-old woman died this morning in Moncofa (Castellón) after being stabbed by her husband who then tried to commit suicide by jumping off the roof of the building.
The incident took place at around 01:00 this morning, Sunday, the man stabbing his wife at her home in calle Almirante Cervera, Moncofa.
The man then jumped off the roof in an attempt to commit suicide but survived and is now in hospital under police guard. There was a restraining order in place against the husband.
