Unions in Andalucia are expecting good support for the general strike tomorrow, Wednesday September 29th, despite what they believe has been a ‘smear’ campaign by the business sector.
The fishing fleet in Andalucia will remain in port today as the markets will be closed on Wednesday.
Demonstrations are planned for tomorrow in major cities in all eight provinces. The Unions claim to have received numerous complaints from employees being informed of the hazardous consequences of joining the strike and to combat this threat, there will be ‘informational’ picketing at such establishments so that members can exercise their right to strike.
