Guardia Civil, Local Police and Civil Protection volunteers are searching the area around Canillas de Aceituno for an 80-year-old man who disappeared from his home on Tuesday.
The man, who suffers from dementia, left the home of one of his children in the early hours of Tuesday morning without anyone noticing.
At dawn, when the absence was discovered, the family promptly notified the authorities and a search was initiated. Tracker dogs are also being deployed in the search.
