The UGT and CCOO trade unions are calling on agricultural workers in Sevilla province to begin an indefinite general strike in an attempt to force compliance with the collective agreement on pay and working hours.
It is the start of the citrus season in the province. The unions plan a similar call to agricultural workers in Córdoba province on November 3rd, the start of their citrus season.
