Photographer Rafael Díaz, who has won several national awards for photojournalism and has worked for the News Agency EFE for thirty-one years, has been honoured with the title ‘Hijo Predilecto de Ronda’ – Favourite Son of Ronda. Previous characters receiving this award include the bullfighter Antonio Ordóñez.
