The olegio Picasso in Alhaurín el Grande has become the first school in Andalucia to have a ‘Bosque de Libros’ (Forest of Books), an initiative of the Council and the Pacto Andaluz por el Libro to encourage reading in schools.
The forest has forty trees, many with handmade ceramic plaques bearing the names of famous writers, some of whom are associated with Alhaurín el Grande.
