An earthquake measuring 3.7 on the Richter scale was registered in Almeria this morning, the epicentre being near the village of La Mojonera.
The quake occurred at 06:10 near La Mojonera, namely at latitude 36.69 degrees north, longitude 2.66 degrees west, at a depth of 10 kilometres.
Several people in El Ejido reported feeling s light tremor and the quake was also felt in Vícar, Berja, Roquetas de Mar and Aguadulce.
There have been no reports of damage or personal injury.
