A warder at the La Caritat geriatric facility in Olot, Girona, already accused of killing three elderly patients, has admitted to killing eight more residents at the home.
The warder admitted to carrying out the killing spree between August 2009 and October 2010.
The admission came during a court appearance. Joan V.D. claims to have killed three with bleach, two with overdoses of insulin and the rest with a cocktail of drugs.
