The Nerja Councillor for Infrastructure, José Alberto Tomé, has confirmed that the Secretary of State for Trade and Tourism has given the green light to funding of the proposed underground car park near Burriana beach.
The funding is via the FOMIT programme and the Council may qualify for a preferential ICO loan to the tune of €3 million with a repayment period of 15 years and an interest rate of just 0.5%.
The Council has commissioned the various technical reports relating to the proposed new underground car park.
