A 37 year old man from El Burgo has been arrested as the alleged perpetrator of a theft from the home of a man who had died the previous day.
The alleged thief, 37 year old A.B.G., broke into the house while the funeral of the owner was taking place and took a number of items including an electric saw, bowls and various other gadgets.
When police visited the home of the suspect they found all the stolen items and he was duly arrested.
It is thought that the detainee is responsible for a number of similar robberies in the area.
