A 48 year old man died on Monday afternoon in a fire at his home in calle Doctrina in the San Pedro district of Jerez de la Frontera.
The fire was reported at 16:20 in the two-storey building and National Police are investigating in order to determine the cause of the blaze.
The victim is thought to have died as a result of smoke inhalation.
