Police in Huelva have arrested three Rumanian nationals who were involved in trying to unload over 1,000 kilos of hashish onto Mazagón beach.
Earlier, the Coast Guard spotted a small vessel, with no lights, heading towards shore and suspicions were aroused that it could be involved in drugs smuggling.
Several Guardia Civil patrols were put on alert. As the drugs were being unloaded, the Guardia Civil made their move, arresting three traffickers as they attempted to flee from the beach.
They also seized 33 bales of hashish with a total weight of 1,023 kilos.
