Another sad indictment of modern life as German ‘adult actress’ (porn star) Cora, real name Carolin Berger, died yesterday at the age of 23 years following complications during her sixth breast enlargement.
Cora, who came to the attention of the nation as a contestant in the German Big Brother series, had been in a coma for nine days following the operation to boost her bust from a 34F to a 34G.
The clinic in Germany where she had the enhancement is now being investigated with a view to possible charges of negligent homicide against the anaesthetist and the surgeon.
Ms Berger’s behaviour during the reality show became increasingly outrageous until she finally began flirting topless with a fellow housemate.
And, as with so many others in the spotlight, she went under the knife for a series of breast enlargements in order to prolong the publicity.
However, there were serious complications in her latest operation and Cora was induced into an artificial coma on January 11th at a hospital in Hamburg and from which she never recovered.
Truly a sad end for someone so young, but the hunger for fame appears to have been too much.
