A 39 year old man from Caleta de Vélez was arrested on Thursday afternoon on suspicion of issuing death threats and trying to attack his wife.
The woman called the police after the alleged attack, which the woman was able to fend off, and they then went round to the place where the husband has been living since their separation.
The man, 39 year old J.B.S., denied the allegations, even stating that it was his wife who had been aggressive, throwing an apple at his head. Despite the denials, he was arrested.
